DeSantis Threatens To Remove Mickey Mouse Tattoo From Lower Back

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis on Thursday threatened to remove his beloved Mickey Mouse tattoo from his lower back as the heated dispute between the 2024 presidential hopeful and The Walt Disney Company continues. 

The disagreement between the governor and the entertainment giant has escalated to the point where now DeSantis is considering permanently severing his connection to the iconic character that for decades has been symbolized by the simple black tattoo he has emblazoned at sacrum level on his backside. 

Insiders have revealed that DeSantis is deeply hurt by the rift, as he has been a lifelong fan of both Disney and Mickey Mouse. According to sources close to the governor, he got the tattoo during a spring break trip in college, and it has since become a cherished symbol of his bond with the world-famous mouse.

"It's heartbreaking for him," said Dicky Bloads, a corporate branding expert with a keen eye on Disney. "To think that he's willing to remove the tattoo is a testament to just how deep this disagreement goes."

Rumors have begun to circulate that the governor is already in talks with tattoo removal specialists in the Tallahassee area. He is said to be considering both laser removal and a cover-up design to remove all traces of Mickey Mouse from his lower back.

“The governor has been looking into alternative designs,” said an anonymous DeSantis aide. “Bears, lions, eagles. Anything stronger than a mouse.

“But then again, maybe animals are just too woke in general. We have to be careful about this.”
