Trump Given Extra Scoop Of Ice Cream For Handling His First Conviction Like A Big Boy
When golf course manager Donald Trump returned home on Thursday following his first criminal conviction, he was served an extra scoop of ice cream for dealing with the situation like a big boy.
Trump, also known for serving a four-year term as president of the United States, officially became a felon when guilty verdicts were handed out on each of the 34 counts that he was charged with.
In a life filled with chaos, fraud, bankruptcies, and civil judgments against him, a first criminal conviction is a “rite of passage,” according to legal expert Dicky Bloads. “This is a big moment for him. There’s nothing quite like your first, or, in this case, your first 34.”
Many in Trump’s orbit were concerned that the former president would act out after the verdict was read, regardless of the outcome.
“It’s hard to get him to sit still, so the trial was a challenge,” said an anonymous source close to the Trump family. “He’s not used to being away from a television for so long. We’re all really proud of him for behaving as well as he did.”
