Trump: ‘I Definitely Prefer Sowing To Reaping’
MILWAUKEE — In remarks given ahead of Wednesday’s festivities at the Republican National Convention, golf course manager Donald Trump announced that, after surviving an attempted assassination on Saturday, he “definitely prefers sowing to reaping.”
“The old saying goes, everyone knows the old saying, it goes ‘you reap what you sow,’” said Trump, who served as President of the United States from 2017 to 2021. “I don’t like that anymore. I disagree that there should be reaping at all. I like sowing so much better. There should only be sowing.”
The former president made it clear that even though he has very little experience with reaping, sowing has long been a passion.
“Sowing is fantastic,” Trump continued. “Sowing is about planting seeds, big beautiful seeds, so many seeds. That’s what I want to do. The reaping is the bad part. I try to avoid reaping as much as possible.”
Before ending his brief statement, Trump also mentioned that he would unveil a new and improved “enemies list” before the close of the RNC.
